FADRA Scholarship Guidelines and CriteriaFADRA awards up to three $1,000 scholarships to employees, their children and/or grandchildren of non-owner FADRA Member employees and Associate Members attending various colleges or night school. Children/students who demonstrate potential and interest in pursuing an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply. Scholarships are awarded per calendar year. Eligibility Criteria
Note: Selection emphasis will focus on coursework while in high school or college, course distribution, activities, the one page essay, and recommendation letters, rather than standardized test scores as a predictor for success. All application materials must be received at the FADRA Offices by June 1st. Scholarship Winners will be notified in writing in June and will be announced at the FADRA Annual Convention in July. The Scholarship Award, a check in the amount of $1,000, will be presented to the scholarship recipient upon written certification of his/her enrollment for the fall term of the year the scholarship was granted. If the scholarship winner does not provide verification of his or her enrollment, or does not enter a community or state college in the fall, the scholarship monies will be forfeited. Note: Previous Scholarship Winners are eligible to receive additional funding from FADRA. However, applicants must re-apply each year for Scholarship consideration.
