FADRA 2025 Convention A Celebration for the Ages From the opening golf tournament at Cove Cay to the closing party with a live band and a record-setting live auction, the FADRA 50th Anniversary Celebration exceeded expectations and left vivid memories for all involved. Three founders were able to return to see what they helped to create 50 years ago: Ron Copher of Copher Brothers Auto Parts, Elliott Sharon of Landress Auto Wrecking, and Randall Spivey of Spivey's Auto Parts. Outgoing FADRA President Phil Riffel: “It was the best convention to date, and I will remember it forever. As always, you hit it out of the park.” Steve Holland of Brandon Auto Salvage said, “This FADRA Convention was special for me, since Brandon Auto Salvage was one of the first to join the association after the Founders met in Ocala to start this fabulous association. This event was one of my favorites because of the friends from the past attending the main dinner, the exhibitors were excited to participate in the event, and the location is our favorite to visit. The band sang so much like the group Journey that everyone loved the music. It was just an outstanding and educational event to be a part of. Thanks to the staff and Convention Committee for making this memorable.”
![]() ![]() FADRA Hill Days on December 2-3, 2025 With Legislative Session taking place in January next year, FADRA members will journey to Tallahassee for Committee Week on December 2-3, 2025. We ask all members to consider joining Board members and staff to meet with Florida legislators in the Capitol. Our lobbyist, Amanda Fraser of Colodny Fass, and Legislative Chairman Steve Holland of Brandon Auto Salvage, will brief everyone and lead the meetings. We organize things to take as little time away from your business as possible while covering as many legislators as can. It's fun, informative, and of vital importance to our industry. Many bills that affect auto recycling are presented at the state level, and it is important for people in the industry to present our case and represent what we do. We have made some excellent legislative contacts over the years. We will stay at the Aloft downtown and have dinner Tuesday night at the Governor's Club. If you want to join the group, please call the FADRA office at 407-614-8354 or email Bobby Davis at [email protected]. |
