Legislative Monitoring - FADRA contracts with a professional lobbyist who is responsible for monitoring legislation in Tallahassee. Each year, bills are introduced to the legislature that could have an adverse affect on the dismantling industry. As a result of our constant monitoring on your behalf, we have successfully fended off legislation that could have had a negative affect on the way you do business. FADRA also maintains a positive working relationship with the DMV and other important government agencies, such as the FDEP. FADRA also continues participate in the Florida Auto Theft Intelligence Unit (FATIU).
Membership Directory - listing all general members plus a classified list of product/service members who have valuable products orservices needed by members.
Annual Convention - FADRA provides education and business opportunities to its members through the Annual Convention & Trade Show held each year. This opportunity to network with fellow members and hear from Industry Leaders is the perfect forum for you to increase your knowledge of the dismantling industry.
Product Show - held each year to give Product/Service members the opportunity to show their products and/or services to owners and managers who have come specifically to meet and
do business.
Advertising - opportunities are available in the quarterly publication and the membership directory. Both are used constantly by FADRA members.
FADRA Mailing List and Mailing Service - can be used to send advertising material to general members. Opportunities to co-op and use bulk rates are available, greatly cutting direct mailing expenses.
Dismantlers Digest - All FADRA members receive "Dismantlers Digest" two times per year as part of FADRA's affiliation with the National Headquarters.
Decals - All FADRA members are provided with a decal denoting membership in FADRA for display in their waiting area or vehicle window.
Member Coupon Book – FADRA members receive an annual book of coupons from vendors worth up to $4500 in discounts.
IN NUMBERS THERE IS STRENGTH
FADRA Membership means fellowship with other auto dismantlers and recyclers and an exchange of ideas. In addition, through membership in one state trade association, auto dismantlers and recyclers have strong representation before government agencies, the consumer, and the industry at large. Membership is open to those engaged in auto recycling and/or dismantling in the state of Florida. "Associate members" are suppliers to the industry.
